| Glass beads are an abrasive blasting media that can be used for many purposes in the dental lab. The main use for this product in the lab is the divesting of all-porcelain restorations such as veneers, pressable ceramics, etc. The advantage that glass beads have over aluminum oxide is that the smooth surface of this particle is less likely to destroy margins. Glass beads can also be used to give gold and other alloys a satin finish. The particle size is 60 microns. 9 Kg (20 Lb) package. Made in the USA. |
